Alex Lodde

Founder/Owner, Board Member

Alex Lodde is a co-founder of MV Transportation, Inc. and remains an owner of the company. He is a member of the company’s board of directors, and has served two terms as Chief Executive Officer, from the company’s founding in 1975 through 2003, and again from 2008 until 2010.

Jon Monson

Jon Monson

Chairman of the Board

Jon Monson is the chairman of MV’s board of directors and former chief executive officer. In his 30+ year career, Monson has contributed greatly to the passenger transportation industry. Few leaders in public transportation possess his resume, qualifications, and successes.
From 1999 through 2008, Monson served as MV’s chief executive officer. Under his direction and leadership, the company grew considerably – from $25M to more than $450 million without major acquisition or merger – and transformed from a local San Francisco Bay area company to a national industry leader.

Shirley A. DeLibero

Strategic Advisor to the Board

Shirley A. DeLibero has transformed travel for communities across the United States for more than three decades. Her accomplishments have led to awards and recognition of tremendous scope – and include titles such as Woman of the Year, Transit Hall of Fame inductee, one of Metro Magazine’s 25 most interesting people in transit, Public Official of the Year, and Most Effective Advocate – to name just a few.

Carter Pate

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Pate joined MV Transportation, Inc. in August 2011 as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Pate has more than 33 years of consulting, management and executive leadership experience, spanning the full spectrum of business operations and finance in both the public and private sectors. He has worked extensively with Federal, State and Local government, including the Department of Defense, Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Transportation and NASA.

Kevin Klika

Kevin A. Klika

President/Chief Operating Officer

Kevin A. Klika is the president and chief operating officer of MV Transportation, Inc. A 12-year veteran of the organization, Kevin’s primary responsibilities lie in the overall management and growth of MV’s transit operations. 

R. Brad Cornelsen, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

R. Brad Cornelsen, CPA, is the chief financial officer for MV Transportation, Inc. and all subsidiaries, joint ventures, partnerships and affiliates. He initially joined MV as the director of finance, was promoted to corporate controller, and in 2010 was appointed by the board of directors to his current role as CFO.

Marsha Moore

Chief Technology Officer/President of MV Transportation Technology, Inc.

Marsha Moore is MV’s chief technology officer and President of MV Transportation Technology, Inc; she leads MV’s research and development efforts, and has oversight of all transit technology development, implementation, operations, and maintenance. Moore brings more than 30 years of information technology experience and has remained a forerunner in software development, specifically in passenger transportation.

John B. Catoe, Jr.

For nearly three decades John B. Catoe, Jr. has contributed greatly to the extension and enhancement of public transportation offerings throughout the U.S.

John Siragusa

John Siragusa

President - West Group

John Siragusa, president of MV’s west group operations, holds executive level authority for all of MV’s operations in the western U.S. He directly manages the company’s regional vice presidents, directors of maintenance and safety, and several personnel that all support MV’s operating locations. He works closely with MV’s clients to make sure MV is living up to the expectations of its clients, passengers, and employees.

Douglas J. Gies

President - East Group

Douglas J. Gies is the president for MV’s east group operations, and has responsibility for MV operations in the South, Midwest, the Northeast, and the state of Colorado. Appointed to this position in mid-2010, Gies serves as the company’s executive level representation for all transit operating contracts. He directly manages a team of regional vice presidents, directors of maintenance and safety, and several personnel that all support MV’s operating locations.

Bob Hargis

Bob Hargis

Executive Vice President of Risk Management

Bob Hargis provides executive level management over MV’s liability claims, workers’ compensation claims, insurance, and other risk management related activities. His more than 20 years of risk management experience, and his tenure in risk management, offers MV customers the confidence that their people, interests, and assets are appropriately protected. His scope of supervision also includes MV’s deployment of on-board video systems in more than five thousand vehicles nationwide.

Executive VP of Business Development

Jim Kelly, MV’s executive vice president of business development, works with MV’s executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on the company’s growth and sustainability.  Throughout his career, Mr. Kelly has demonstrated a unique combination of business acumen and drive to serve others that results in independence, self-sufficiency, and the continued success of those in need.  

Dan Abfalter

Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Daniel L. Abfalter, senior vice president of human resources, leads MV’s human resource management efforts. The scope of his responsibilities include labor relations and field human resources; drug and alcohol testing program compliance; compensation and benefits oversight; policy and procedure development; as well as employee recruiting, hiring, and retention.

Erica Noble

Erica Noble, CPA

Vice President of Tax

Erica Noble, CPA and vice president of tax, is responsible for the company’s compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. She oversees MV’s team of tax accountants and leads all corporate tax filings and annual return preparation.

David Bird, CPA, CMA

Corporate Controller

David Bird is a certified management accountant and the company’s corporate controller. He works closely with MV’s CFO and accounting teams to plan, budget, and manage MV’s financials.

Andrew Higuera

Vice President of Safety - West Group

Andrew Higuera is a veteran of MV for nearly ten years, and MV’s executive-level safety representative for its Western U.S. operations. He joined MV in 2002 as a regional safety manager, and his area of responsibility has grown with the company.

Francene Scott-Diehl

Vice President of Safety - East Group

Francene Scott-Diehl is MV’s executive-level safety representative for its Eastern U.S. operations. She oversees a team of directors of safety, and holds indirect responsibility for all of MV’s safety teams in her region.
Scott-Diehl works closely with the company’s executive team to establish and enact policy that relates to the safety and security of MV’s personnel, equipment, and facilities. Her efforts involve close coordination and collaboration with operations and maintenance professionals, and strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

John Calame

Vice President of Fleet and Facilities - West Group

John Calame, vice president of fleet and facilities for MV’s west group operations, is a transit maintenance industry veteran who has managed MV’s fleet, facilities, and equipment for more than a decade. Under his guidance, MV’s asset management initiatives have improved the overall health and safety of MV’s operating fleet.

John Seber

John Seber

Vice President of Fleet and Facilities - East Group

John Seber, vice president of fleet and facilities, oversees MV’s east group equipment and facility maintenance operations. He has twenty years of transit maintenance experience, who – after working as a dealership technician – moved to coach maintenance in 1991.
