John Seber

Vice President of Fleet and Facilities - East Group
John Seber

John Seber, vice president of fleet and facilities, oversees MV’s east group equipment and facility maintenance operations. He has twenty years of transit maintenance experience, who – after working as a dealership technician – moved to coach maintenance in 1991.

Seber joined MV as a director of maintenance in the eastern region in 2001, when MV had just a handful of operating locations. His work in enhancing MV’s maintenance operations, extending the life of its clients’ fleets, and programs in preventive care and scheduled maintenance, had an extremely positive impact on the company’s growth. Seber paved the road for MV to further develop its presence in the eastern U.S., and gave customers confidence in MV’s strengths in equipment and facility maintenance and repair.

Seber oversees MV’s directors of maintenance, and works with directors and local maintenance managers to provide hands-on training, audits, and inspections. He coordinates with MV’s executive team to ensure that all resources needed to augment the safe and complete maintenance of MV’s and its clients’ assets are available.

After three years with Tri-State Cardinal Coach in Gary, Ind., Seber joined the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IPTC), where he worked as the Director of Vehicle and Facility Maintenance from 1993 through 2001. He worked for a short period of time for Transportation Concepts, and returned to MV in 2007. He was promoted to his current vice president role in 2010.
