MV Transportation, Inc. Selected to Operate Grand Junction, Colorado Bus Operations

Today, MV Transportation, Inc. announced it has been selected to operate Grand Valley Transit (GVT) in Grand Junction, CO. Under this new three year base term contract MV will manage the daily operations of GVT’s fixed route and paratransit services, effective January 1st, 2011.

MV Transportation Completes Council Bluffs Habitat for Humanity Project

Fairfield, Calif., (August 3, 2011) – MV Transportation, Inc. is proud to announce the completion of its first build with the Omaha chapter of Habitat for Humanity. MV employees spent a week helping rehabilitate a two bedroom, one bathroom home for a local family in need. In addition to the rehabilitation work, MV Transportation employees helped raise more than $6,200 to donate to the Omaha chapter.

MV Transportation Continues Operation of WMATA’s MetroAccess Service

Fairfield, Calif., (August 1, 2011) Today, MV Transportation, Inc. (MV) announced the unanimous decision by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (WMATA) Board of Directors to renew its contract with MV for the operation of its paratransit service, MetroAccess. The new contract, which was effective July 1, 2011, extends MV’s term for an additional two years and represents more than $216 million in annual revenue.

MV Transportation Continues City Link Paratransit Service in Peoria, IL

Fairfield, Calif., (July 21, 2011) – Today, MV Transportation Inc. announced a two –year extension of its contract with the Greater Peoria Mass Transit District to operate City Link, the city’s paratransit service. MV operates 30 paratransit vehicles, making 130,000 trips each year and maintains an average on-time performance of 96 percent.

Carter Pate Appointed as New CEO of MV Transportation, Inc.

Fairfield, Calif., (July 7, 2011)Mr. Jon Monson, Chairman of the Board of MV Transportation, Inc.
